Summer slipping by

Already we are nearing the end of July. Summer goes by so fast and then winter comes. The worst part is that with all the wind and rain summer has only just begun for us here in the Kootenays. I have a nice toasty tan from my uneventful week in Merritt. I shouldn't say it was uneventful there just weren't any over the top pleasant events to write about. Between the clouds and the wind and the 5 dollar beers Merritt was pretty much a bust. I did sing kareokee with my sister in law. That was fun and a first for me. My brother is a crazy laugh a minute guy. Which I love. He really doesn't care how stupid he looks. He's always been that way and I've always loved that about him. I don't think there is anyone who makes me laugh more than my brother does. Merritt wasn't truly a bust because of the family and friends that were with us.
I don't have any pictures this year. Nobody thought to bring a camera. The pictures in my head will keep me laughing for years.
